Counter services

You can do the following over the counter at Land Services:

  • make general enquiries - eg order products, processes and services
  • gain information about land ownership and valuation
  • make account payments
  • gain access to archived documents.

What counter staff can't help with

Counter staff are not able to help you with:

  • drafting documents
  • pre-examination of documents before lodgement
  • advice on fencing and fencing disputes
  • conducting searches on your behalf.

When an appointment is required

You will need to make an appointment for:

  • general land related enquiries
  • registration and plan advice.

This is a free service and an appointment can be made by contacting Land Services.

Document collection room

Located at Land Services, this room is available for use Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 6.00 pm and provides the following facilities:

  • LTO delivery boxes
  • Toll DX boxes
  • Revenue SA lodgement box.

Settlements room

Available to public and professionals to conduct property settlements.

Delivery boxes

Delivery boxes are available at no charge at the Land Services office for industry professionals.

They can be accessed by the box holder or their nominee Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 6.00 pm.

Once items and the delivery slip are placed into a box it is considered to be delivered or you can set up as a registered signatory (23.4 KB PDF) to ensure the deliveries have been received by your office. You must return the delivery slip signed once acknowledged. Boxes should be cleared at least once a week and lost keys can be replaced by Land Services on request for a fee. No Land Services staff member has access to a delivery box.

When you no longer require the box you must surrender it to Land Services and hand over all keys. If keys are not returned the locks will be replaced and you will be charged a fee.

To apply for a delivery box complete a delivery box application form (91.3 KB PDF) and return this to Land Services. Your application will be assessed and you will be notified of their decision. For an alternative version of this document contact Land Services.
