The&n Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement (ALRM) can help you with civil and criminal matters. The ALRM is an independent organisation governed by an all-Aboriginal board and has offices in Adelaide, Murray Bridge, Ceduna, Port Augusta and Port Lincoln. Contact the ALRM on 1800 643 222 (freecall).

The ALRM offers the Aboriginal Visitors Scheme to provide help and support to Aboriginal people who are in custody. It is an after hours service and run by volunteers.

For free legal advice you can also call the Legal Services Commission on 1300 366 424 (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 4.30 pm).

The Aboriginal Prisoners and Offenders Support Services offers support for partners and families of Aboriginal prisoners, and has branches in Adelaide, Mount Gambier, Port Augusta and Port Lincoln.
