Workforce Australia provides assistance to employers to find staff. Providers access flexible funding that may be used to purchase wage subsidies and work trials for job seekers. Call the Employer Hotline on 13 17 15

Wage subsidy information

Your business may be eligible for wage subsidies for employing various types of staff.

Employer support to take on an apprentice or trainee - Skilled Careers

There are also incentives for employing people 50 years of age or older - visit Restart wage subsidy.

Support to employ people with disability

Disability Employment Service (DES) will assist you to employ people with disability and support their ongoing employment.

Support to employ Aboriginal people

Employers who employ Aboriginal people may be able to access a wage subsidy.

Help with Aboriginal culture

Develop understanding of aboriginal culture among your staff through cultural awareness training. Visit Reconciliation Australia for more information.
