The program is aimed at primary school children, providing them with information about how smoking affects the environment, sporting performance and health. The web site also includes a fun interactive game to help you learn about the affects of smoking.

2/06/2009 5:56:11 PM It is well known that tobacco smoking is the single largest cause of preventable death in Australia. Tobacco causes more illness and death than any other drug. Thirty South Australian's die each week from diseases caused by smoking tobacco and smoking related diseases account for 75,000 hospital bed days in the State each year. The Tobacco Products Regulation Act, 1997 is the Act in South Australia that regulates tobacco sales, distribution and use of tobacco, including areas where smoking is prohibited. On 28th October 2004 the Parliament of SA passed the Tobacco Products (Further Restrictions) Amendment Bill, 2004. The Tobacco Products Regulation Act, 1997 as amended in 2004 is about protecting non-smokers and children from the damaging effects of tobacco.
