2/06/2009 5:57:21 PM [07] Certificates of Competency are issued for prescribed occupations as detailed in the National Occupational Health and Safety Certification standard for Users and Operators of Industrial Equipment. There are 26 classes of certificates issued for scaffolding, dogging, rigging, crane and hoist operation, and pressure equipment operation.
Certificates of Competency are not issued in South Australia for loadshifting plant. Instead, the assessor will issue a Notice Of Assessment which is kept by the operator as proof of competency.
