Competency-based training is one of the options for obtaining a P1 provisional driver’s licence.
Competency-based training (CBT) gradually assesses your driving skills and knowledge instead of taking a
practical driving test. The CBT does not involve a pass or fail in a single driving test but you need to demonstrate the same skills over a series of training sessions with an accredited driving instructor.
