The heavy vehicle access framework is a reference for industry and local government about the processes for the development of road freight networks in South Australia.
It provides information on:
- existing routes
- roads that can potentially be assessed for travel by restricted access heavy vehicles
- the route assessment process.
Part A (PDF 1.2MB) provides the policies and guidelines for the strategic development of heavy vehicle freight networks in South Australia.
Part B (PDF 39KB) lists the maps which identify key, general and commodity freight routes developed from the policies and guidelines contained in Part A.
