General freight vehicles

Drivers and operators of general freight vehicles are required to comply with and carry the applicable Gazette Notice (below) in the vehicle when operating or driving.

Semi-Trailers up to 4.6 metres highGazette Notice for Semi-Trailer (up to 4.6m high)
Semi-Trailers exceeding 12.3 metres in length from point of articulationGazette Notice for Semi Trailers to exceed 12.3m in length from Point of Articulation

Routes

Prior to any journey drivers and operators must determine the approved route being travelled or operated on via RAVnet Online Map system or published PDF maps.
 
If your operating requirements cannot be met by a Gazette Notice you may need to apply for an oversize and overmass heavy vehicle permit.
