Domiciliary Care (also known as Dom Care) helps people with reduced ability to care for themselves, helping them to stay living in their own homes close to loved ones, family and their local community.
Our services include physical assistance, rehabilitation and social support for people in need as well as respite and support for their carers.

If you're eligible for Dom Care services we'll provide you with a comprehensive assessment tailored to your needs.
Assessments are conducted in your home by trained allied health staff such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists and social workers and include a range of tests and questions.

Allied health
Our allied health staff include nutrition and dietetics, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, social workers and speech pathologists.

Coordination of services
Dom Care will coordinate, plan and deliver services for individuals. A care plan will be developed, which is then monitored and reviewed to meet the changing needs of the individual.
Case management and service coordination includes:
- health promotion and early intervention including strategies to prevent falls
- support for people with dementia and memory loss
- rehabilitation
- support for carers including respite care.

Domestic assistance
Help with domestic chores, including cleaning, laundry, shopping and bill-paying on behalf of clients.

Equipment and home modifications
Dom Care can loan a wide range of equipment and provide home modifications depending on your needs. Fees may apply. Equipment can include things like walking aids, showering and toilet aids, wheelchairs, powered mobility and bedding.

Personal care
We can provide assistance with daily self-care, such as eating, showering, dressing, toileting, grooming, getting in and out of bed and mobility around the home.

Palliative care
Dom Care provides help for people with a terminal condition. We can provide equipment, allied health services, care and respite with the goal of pain relief and improved quality of life.
Clients may also get help from a palliative specialist, such as the Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS) or hospice services.
