Survey Database
The Survey Database (SDB) holds survey mark information including:
- coordinate and elevation values
- accuracy statements
- descriptive information
- references to connecting plans of survey and other documents.
The SDB is updated principally from plans of survey lodged with Land Services Group. Information is also provided by other government agencies, local government and the surveying community.
Maps showing survey marks and access to the SDB information is available from the Property Location Browser. If you already know your survey mark numbers, use the quick survey mark search.
The SDB uses codes to decribe features. A list of code descriptions (PDF 46KB) is provided.
PropertyAssist account holders can use their PropertyAssist username and password to purchase survey mark information. If you do not have a PropertyAssist account you can purchase information using a Visa or Mastercard credit card. PropertyAssist account customers can check their purchases through the Order History facility in PropertyAssist.
