The DPA is on public consultation from 16 February 2012 to 11 April 2012.
Purpose of the amendment
This development plan amendment (DPA) proposes to amend land use policy in the site known as Bowden Urban Village and the surrounding areas, including a section of Port Road. This will allow for the development of new housing, complementary retail and commercial buildings, open spaces and transport infrastructure.

Area affected by the amendment
The area that would be affected includes:
- former industrial land in Bowden
- an existing commercial area on Port Road
- a section of Park Terrace adjoining the Adelaide Park Lands.
