Student groups and associations
Joining a student association is a good way of getting to know other students, gain support and be informed of student events. Student associations are usually independent from the institution and are run by elected members.
Student associations and groups may be based on:
- education field – eg veterinary
- education level - eg postgraduate
- other categories – eg nationality, interests.
You can find information about student associations at your university or college from the institutions information service.
UniLife - an independent association for students at the University of South Australia.
