Volunteering can provide the chance to meet new people, share knowledge and experience and learn new skills, while giving something back to the community.
You may choose to volunteer just once or it might be the start of a long-term commitment.
Volunteer work is available in community services, education, emergency services, sport and recreation, health, tourism, the arts and the environment.
