Weights and measures

Pre-packed goods should be labelled with the correct weight and customers should expect that goods have been accurately weighed or measured according to the legislation.
 
The rules and regulations governing the sale of products can be found on the Office for Consumer and Business Affairs (OCBA) website and include:

• alcoholic drinks 
• fruit and vegetables
• meat
• fuel
• firewood
• weighbridges.
