Apply for a licence
If you have never held a licence before, or if you have allowed it to lapse, you need to apply for a new one.
You can apply for a new licence by answering a series of questions verbally, either in person at Consumer and Business Services (CBS) or by phone on 131 882. Staff will complete your application form and forward it for you to check and sign.
You will need to lodge with your application the specified fees and supporting documents. CBS will then assess your application to determine if you have met all the necessary criteria.
Before you apply check the CBS website for your entitlement to be licensed.
The CBS website sets out the full process to apply for a licence.
