Your business name needs to be renewed every three years. A renewal notice is issued one month before the expiry date.
If you do not renew your business name within two months after its expiry date it will be removed from the register. Once this happens it cannot be re-registered through a renewal process and you will need to lodge a
new application for registration of a business name. There are
fees for a new application as well as for renewing a business name.
